A “work in progress” strategy at the heart of the organization of our trade fairs
Since 2020, several initiatives have been implemented by the Infopro Digital Trade Shows teams to limit the impact of its events on the environment.
This continuous improvement approach aims to offer ever more responsible trade fairs and create a virtuous ecosystem in close collaboration with exhibitors, visitors and partners of each event.
Training and educational communication tools
- Publication of a document in collaboration with the Eurexpo exhibition center and the company Paprec Recyclage, in charge of recycling on the site , to explain the sorting rules to be applied at the event.
- Distribution of the document in advance to exhibitors and stand owners.
- Individual meeting with each stand builder on the assembly to inform and explain .
- Training of internal teams on CSR issues, in progress (2-ton workshop, etc.)
Procedures at Eurexpo
- Installation by Eurexpo of LED lighting in all halls (all equipped stands and organization areas).
- Creation of lasting signage :
> for the aisle letters : storage near the park and reuse of the same supports since 2019
> for communication elements : storage near the park and reuse of the same supports since 2019, personalization by adhesive for each event.
- 33% reduction in carpeted areas since 2019.
- Installation of photovoltaic panels on covered car parks in January 2025.
On-site recycling
- Implementation of 3 sorting streams (DIB / paper-cardboard / plastics) in the aisles, i.e. 1 more compared to 2020.
- Installation of recycling bins for inks.
- Installation of glass collectors in bars and restaurants.
- Glass collection in the evening (deposited at the edge of the aisle by exhibitors).
- Display of sorting information in the aisles to encourage visitors to sort their waste. The signage is printed on a reusable and 100% recyclable material.
Restoration and Mobility
- Collection of food waste and recovery by the company Ecovalim.
- Use of packaging compostable for fast food and preference for glass/porcelain tableware for catering services and in restaurants.
- Implementation of a free and cost-free carpooling solution for visitors and exhibitors at the show, in partnership with MOBICOOP, a free, commission-free, and cooperative carpooling solution.
During dismantlement
- Recovery of cardboard lanyards and badge holders.
- Recovery of all the printed tarpaulins by the company Ecopack Solutions , to create “made in Auvergne” packaging.
