A "work in progress" strategy at the heart of the organization of our trade shows
Since 2020, several initiatives have been put in place by the Infopro Digital Trade Shows teams to limit the impact of its events on the environment.
This continuous improvement approach aims to offer increasingly responsible trade shows and create a virtuous ecosystem in close collaboration with exhibitors, visitors and partners of each event.
Training and educational communication tools
- Editing a document in collaboration with the Eurexpo exhibition center And the company Paprec Recycling, in charge of recycling on site to explain the sorting rules to apply about the event.
- Distribution of the document in advance, with exhibitors and stand builders.
- Individual meeting of each stand builder on the assembly for inform And explain.
- Internal team training to CSR issues, in progress (Workshop 2 tonnes, etc.)
The procedures at Eurexpo
- Implementation by Eurexpo of LED lighting in all halls (all equipped stands and organization areas).
- Creation of a permanent signage:
> for the aisle letters :Storage near the park and reuse of the same materials since 2019
> for communication elements : storage near the park and reuse of the same supports since 2019, personalization by adhesive for each event.
- 33% reduction in carpeted areas since 2019.
- Implementation of photovoltaic panels on covered parking lots around January 2025.
On-site recycling
- Implementation of 3 sorting streams (DIB / paper-cardboard / plastics) in the aisles, i.e. 1 more compared to 2020.
- Implementation of recycling bins for inks.
- Implementation of glass collection bins in bars and restaurants.
- Glass recycling in the evening (placed at the edge of the aisle by the exhibitors).
- Displaying sorting information Signs are placed in the walkways to encourage visitors to sort their waste. The signage is printed on reusable and 100% recyclable material.
Catering and Mobility
- Collection and recycling of food waste by the company Ecovalim.
- Use of packagingcompostable for fast food and preference to the glass/porcelain tableware for catering services and in restaurants.
- Implementation of a free and cost-free carpooling solution for visitors and exhibitors at the trade fair, in partnership with MOBICOOP, a free, commission-free, and cooperative carpooling solution.
At the time of dismantling
- Lanyard retrieval and cardboard badge holders.
- Recovery of all printed tarpaulins by the company Ecopack Solutions, to create packaging "made in Auvergne".
- Recovery of all pallets by Cagibig, Specialists in shared equipment for the events industry.
For the past three years, we have been sharing our equipment, creating a community of event organizers to rethink event planning through shared logistical and technical resources.
